11:59 pm - Calling for all License Plates! Currently looking for all regular issued license plate in all 13 Canadian and 51 US jurisdictions! (EXCEPT for: Alberta and Ontario). Also looking for Sample Plate in your state/province if it can be obtained for free. If you have current information on how to obtain one where you are please send it along!
My goal is to collect at least 1 regular issued plate and/or 1 sample plate from each of the 64 Canada-US jurisdictions. Condition is unimportant. Vintage, old rusty plates even better! If you have one laying in your garage or know someone who does, let me know!
Also looking for International plate as a vanity plate for my own vehicle in the following order: Mongolia, Guangdong, Hong Kong, CIS (with cyrillic letter(s)), Northern Europe
Will pay for Shipping/Handling! Or exchange for some other collectibles. (I only have 2 or 3 regular Alberta plates)
Love and Kisses from Alberta in advance :) Current Mood: hopeful

07:06 pm - Bodily Discharge Wondering outloud on a disgusting question...
Cantonese - English 汗 - sweat 尿 - pee/urine etc 屎 - shit/poop etc 耳屎 - ear wax 鼻屎 - booger 牙屎 - plaque 眼屎 - ??
What is that crusty stuff that sometimes "glue" your eyes shut when you get up in the morning? What is it called?
As you can see 屎 in Cantonese can be used for a wide variety of bodily discharge. Even for the substance in question. Current Mood: weird

12:02 pm - Foreign Plates on Canadian Cars Ok so I'm a self-professed eurotrash.
1. Anyone knows about the legality of putting up used European license plate on vehicles here in Canada? I've seen quite a few of these in Québec, in particular. Some even have the European plate mounted along side with the Québec plate at the rear. What about here in Alberta where only the rear license plate is required? Would this be treated as a vanity plate if mounted on the front?
2. Where's a good place to get them besides ebay? Perhaps places to look locally? I may consider plates from other regions of the world if they look cool. Perhaps Chinese plates? How much do I expect to pay?
3. What's your take on putting foreign plates on Canadian cars? Stupid idea? Cool? Ricey? Current Mood: curious
